Maruti Suzuki has announced increased prices of Alto 800 and Alto K10. New prices have come into effect from today. The company has increased the price of entry level variants of Alto 800 to Rs 10,000. At the same time, the Alto K10 has become expensive by Rs 7,000. After the introduction of new prices, the starting Delhi X showroom price of Alto 800 has gone up to Rs 2.62 lakh. The entry price of Alto K10’s entry level LX Variants has gone up to Rs 3.38 lakh from the first Delhi X showroom price.
In fact, the company had already told that its cars would become expensive in the new year. The company said that due to increase in commodity prices and foreign currency rates, the cost of the company’s vehicles is affecting. Due to this, the company will increase the prices of its vehicles, which will raise some of the additional cost to the customers. On behalf of the company, it was told that the prices will be fixed on the basis of models.
Explain that Alto is Maruti Suzuki’s second best-selling car in 2018. In December last year, its 25.121 entry-level cars were sold in India. Alto has a year-on-year growth of 23 percent on comparing December to 2017.Right now, the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 has a 1.0-liter K-Series engine for power. Its engine generates a 68 PS maximum power and 90 Nm peak torque. Its engine is equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It also has an option of automatic transmission. According to the company, both models get mileage of 24.07 km per liter.
